How do you deal with fear?

Mar 31, 2018

Have you ever been terrified to do something? I’m talking clammy hands, squirmies in your stomach, short of breath...

Yeah, I’ve been there too.

There I was, sitting in my corporate office about to go talk to my boss. I was surrounded by everything I had dreamed of: a place on the executive team, continuous travel across the nation, employees to train and develop, degrees on the wall, a promotion ahead of me, a growing 401K…

… and I was about to quit.

Because you know what came with that nice office? Stress, overwhelm, and complacency! I was comfortable, and I knew in that moment it was time to step out of that comfort zone and into opportunity.

I had a vision to impact others across the globe, share my passion, and fulfill my passion.

So even though I was scared, I held my head high, focused on my vision, and confidently declared, “I quit.”

Here’s the deal, friend — on the other side of fear is a breakthrough.

If I had succumbed to fear, I would have wasted my potential and been stuck where I knew I didn’t belong (an alternative that is WAY more scary than quitting!).

What are YOU afraid of? Where are you feeling negative energy in your life; an area that’s begging for a change?

I want you to know that YOU have the power to change it. Walk away, surround yourself with new possibilities, and make a change.

Do what you’re afraid to do! Because that’s where confidence grows, and that’s where your life purpose begins.

Here’s to achieving your wildest dreams!
