I get asked all the time how I stay so positive and optimistic, so today, I’m sharing my secret sauce!
But before I do, I want to set the record straight…
I’m human. And as a human, I am not immune to days where I feel “off” or icky or whatever else you want to call it. But this ONE thing keeps me from staying in that negative space all day.
And that’s gratitude.
It’s hard to be down in the dumps when we have SO many things to be grateful for! It doesn’t even have to be something huge or complex… it can be as simple as being grateful to have ears to listen to your favorite song with.
So if you’re struggling to stay positive or optimistic, I want to challenge you to start practicing gratitude!
Every day for the next two weeks, start each day by making a list of things you’re grateful for. Write down at least three things each time you make your list.
In two weeks’ time, you’ll be amazed by how this simple solution completely shifts your thinking and perspective.
